Going Riding after an Injury

Ouch ouch ouch. It's a fact of life. We get hurt once in a while. We require surgery once in a while. Being off during a recuperative period can be a struggle - I can relate to being frustrated at not being able to ride on "Doctor's Orders". If we've been injured in a horse related incident, our confidence can take a good blow too. Both cases are life events. I like to think that all things in life open doors for us; we simply might not see them right away. In this show, we're going to highlight some of those doors as we dig into two important topics: 1) What we can do to regain confidence after an incident, and 2) Proactive exercises we can do to continue to progress in our horsemanship while we're waiting to get back in the saddle.
