We want that first ride on a horse to go well. For both the rider and the horse.
We can take many steps to ensure the first ride on a horse is a great one for both of us. In our horsemanship style, we ensure that our horse knows everything they can about being ridden before we swing a leg over for the first time.
But we eventually have to get on and that introduces a disconnect - the handler is now in a new position: behind the horse's eyes and above their head. This adds some additional pressures to the horse that we can't replicate in the groundwork.
In this webinar, we dig right into bridging that gap using a powerful resource - another person. My friend, Dale Weiers, Wildie Zeus and I team up to show you how we can make that first ride a success.
